Shipping Times

I try to keep the stock numbers as accurate as possible, so generally, orders will ship out within 1 or 2 days of receipt.  Occasionally, the stock numbers may be off, and 1 or more items will be out of stock.  This should only delay shipment by 1 week for my own products, and up to 2 weeks for products imported from the UK.

My processing times may vary depending on my level of day-job craziness, but generally will always catch up packing and shipping orders on the weekend.

US Shipping

Shipping for all orders in the United States is an $8 flat rate.  Some orders are shipped via USPS Priority Mail, unless the first-class equivalent is a big savings for the customer.  I will always refund shipping overage charges.

International Shipping

Shipping for all orders outside the United States is at a $17 flat rate.  All orders are shipped via USPS 1st class Mail, and so should be received within 5-10 business days, though this can vary quite a bit depending on the destination.

For Customers in Australia and New Zealand, sadly I have to set the current rate at $25, as shipping costs have skyrocketed of late ($37 for 8+ ounces!).

For customers in the UK, due to recent changes in import laws requiring tax to be collected at the point of sale rather than the point of import, orders of 135GBP or less may no longer be processed through the store.  I have set up an Etsy store in parallel to handle all UK orders as Etsy will collect and process the required tax:

MicroworldGames on Etsy

This means that UK customers will have to pay tax up front, but will no longer suffer the dreaded import surcharge and fees.  I am still in the process of adding items to the Etsy shop, please send a mail if the items you would like are not yet posted.

For any customers in the EU, please be aware (because a handful of customers have not been)  that your countries have rather punitive import taxes and fees, so you will very likely end up paying VAT (usually around 20%) + some surcharge or service fee on your order.  This is not something that I can do anything about.
